He studied at the Prague Conservatory with Professor Nora Grumlíková, already focusing on chamber music besides solo performances during his studies. He developed his skills in Professor Franco Gulli’s masterclass courses in Sion (Switzerland). He joined the first violins of the Czech Philharmonic while still studying. He also performs with the Czech Chamber Orchestra and the Norbert Quartet as one of the ensemble’s founding members since 2003. In 2012, he joined the Czech Philharmonic String Quartet, has recorded a number of CDs and toured Japan with this quartet. Apart from music, he enjoys flying small sport aircraft.
