The Little Rudolfinum

For several years, these popular musical workshops have been offered to preschoolers, and now we have decided to open them to the general public. The workshops reveal the hidden recesses of music to children and to the adults accompanying them. We introduce them to the musicians and their instruments and to the beautiful building known as the Rudolfinum. Join us on our adventure of discovery of the world of music.

With beautiful music that tells stories, we will be flying around Europe from north to south and from west to east. Chamber Steps to the New World with Bedřich Smetana

In a season when we are commemorating the 200th anniversary of Bedřich Smetana's birth, Jana Boušková is presenting selections from Má vlast arranged for harp, Josef Špaček and Miroslav Sekera will play compositions for violin and piano, and young musicians under the guidance of Magdaléna Mašlaňová will play Smetana's works for quartet. At this series of concerts with commentary, selected compositions will be heard with verbal explanations.
