The Czech Chamber Music Society’s curator this season, Petr Popelka, is not only an exceptionally talented conductor but also a composer, and for this programme, the public will hear his Clarinet Quintet. Performing this piece is the Fritz Busch Quartett, formed of players from the Staatskapelle Dresden, who will be joined by the Orchestra’s Principal Clarinettist Robert Oberaigner.
