“The Czech Chamber Music Society Award has brought us sincere joy. We see it as a wonderful gift ahead of our approaching tenth anniversary – a symbolic recognition of ten years of shared work, searching, growth, and many joyful musical experiences. Among the previous laureates of the Czech Chamber Music Society Award are ensembles we deeply admire, which is why we accept it with great humility, as both an encouragement and a commitment for the years to come. We are especially delighted that the award is connected with a concert in Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum, which will take place on 24 March 2027. We would already like to extend our warmest invitation, we will be very happy if you join us in sharing this special moment.”

The Czech Chamber Music Society Award is financially supported by the law firm PRK Partners. The award also includes a graphic print by the Czech painter and graphic artist Míla Fürstová and a laureates’ concert within one of the Society’s subscription concert series.

The Czech Chamber Music Society Award has existed since 1981 and is presented to ensembles whose members have an average age of no more than 35 years. Over its forty-five years of existence, the award has been presented thirty-five times. The first recipient was the Kocian Quartet, and the most recent laureate, for 2024, was the Alinde Quintet.

Founded in 2016, Trio Incendio has quickly established itself as one of the most distinctive young European chamber ensembles. Karolína Františová, Filip Zaykov, and Vilém Petras first performed together as members of the Chamber Music Academy and soon decided to continue their artistic journey as a trio. The ensemble captivates audiences with its stylistic elegance in Classical repertoire, the warmth and colour of its sound in Romantic works, and its compelling approach to contemporary music. The trio is a laureate of numerous prestigious international competitions. As a member ensemble of the European Chamber Music Academy, it has collaborated with many distinguished musicians. Trio Incendio performs regularly both in the Czech Republic and abroad, appearing in major venues such as the Philharmonie Berlin, Wigmore Hall in London, and the Rudolfinum in Prague, and has been invited to festivals including Ticino Musica, Davos Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival, and the Prague Spring Festival’s chamber music series.

Congratulations!
