Škoda Auto

“Superbus” means beautiful, outstanding, magnificent.

These words describe more than just the Škoda model of the same name. They also capture the qualities of the Czech Philharmonic and the values shared by both organisations.

Škoda Auto extends partnership with the Czech Philharmonic until 2029

The Czech Philharmonic has opened its 131st season with Škoda Auto once again by its side, as the carmaker renews their longstanding partnership for a further three years, from 2026 to 2029. The two organisations have worked together since 1993.

Creation Is a Journey

An outstanding car, much like a masterful musical performance, is the culmination of a long creative process. A journey of prototypes and rehearsals, of exploring new and better ways to shape materials or sound, and of transforming a design or musical score into something that comes alive: an experience that is both unique and compelling.

An unforgettable artistic experience.

Honouring Tradition

Every great creation builds on the finest achievements of the past while embracing the aspirations, needs and possibilities of the 21st century.

A “living tradition” is more than just an empty phrase. It is something being created here and now.

A Distinctly Czech Identity

Every original creation reflects the region or country from which it comes. Whether through design inspired by the craftsmanship of Czech glassmakers or the distinctive sound of the Czech Republic’s leading orchestra, it is this local character that gives excellence its universal appeal.

Every Detail Matters

Even the smallest detail is essential. Whether it is an element of interior or exterior design, the interplay of several notes or the precise entrance of an instrument, every aspect is carefully considered and given the utmost attention.

United by Our Craft

Behind every achievement are the dedication and artistry of individuals. Designers, engineers, assembly workers, marketing specialists, conductors, musicians, instrument makers, stage managers and many others. Not everyone is visible at premieres or moments of applause, but…

…together, they all create something of lasting value.

Whether it takes the form of a Škoda Superb or a Czech Philharmonic subscription concert.
