Check out what to look forward to
129th season of the Czech Philharmonic
The first half of the Czech Philharmonic's 129th season coincides with the Year of Czech Music, so we can look forward to a strong representation of Czech repertoire. The season will begin with the Opening Concert by Chief Conductor Semyon Bychkov together with Artist-in-Residence Daniil Trifonov.
130th season of the Czech Chamber Music Society
Twenty-eight chamber programmes in five cycles and four Advent concerts feature a diverse mix of local and world-renowned ensembles. Curated performances by prominent artists have enlivened the year-round program. This year, pianist, double bassist, composer and conductor Petr Popelka will take on this role.
Programmes For children, teenagers and adults
Next season includes more than a dozen educational programs for all ages. You will find workshops full of creativity and fun for the youngest children with their parents, guided concerts for schoolchildren, and music sessions for adults and seniors.
For preschools and schools
In the new season we offer over ten workshops or guided concerts for children of all age groups. From kids in kindergartens to pupils of both levels of primary schools to students of secondary schools. About music, composers and instruments in a fun and educational way.

“All of us have been very conscious of a lot of darkness descending into our life, which makes the need for light even stronger. It sharpens our sensitivity to music even greater. Through music and its light illuminating our existence comes hope for a better future and a stronger connection between us all. It is hope that we must never lose.”
— Semjon Bychkov, Chief Conductor and Music Director of the Czech Philharmonic
