                    Jana Dvořáková (née Krejčí) is a graduate of the Brno Conservatoire, where she studied under the guidance of Břetislav Winkler. She has continued her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she is in her second year of the master’s programme in the studios of Associate Prof. Irvin Venyš and Prof. Vlastimil Mareš.
She has won numerous prizes at Czech and international competitions. Her greatest successes include victory at the Pardubice Winds Competition (2017) and the title of overall winner of the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition (2024).
Each year, she takes part at such international masterclasses as the Prague Clarinet Days and the Ostrava International Music Course in Ostrava. She gained her first orchestral experience playing in the Student Chamber Symphony Orchestra and the Brno Youth Orchestra.
She has been a member of the Orchestral Academy of the Brno Philharmonic and has played as an extra with the Pilsen Philharmonic and the Prague Symphony Orchestra. In 2025 she became a member of the Brno Philharmonic as the principal clarinettist. That same year, she was admitted to the Orchestral Academy of the Czech Philharmonic.
She devotes herself actively to playing chamber music in various groups including a wind trio and a trio for clarinet, violin, and piano.
