He is a son of professional musicians and has been playing the violin since the age of five when he started attending M. Müllerová's class at the Horní Počernice Art School. Kubita won his first awards at the age of seven at art school competitions, namely, B. Martinů competition in Polička (1st place) and at the Josef Micka, PhDr. competition. After his admission to the Prague Conservatory in the prof. Pavel Kudelásek’s class, he won the 3rd prize in the J. Muzika competition in Nová Paka. During his studies, Kubita participated in performance courses in Soběslav several times where he studied under prof. Jiří Fišer, Štěpán Ježek, and Jan Fišer.
