Emilie Smoláková is in her fifth year of study at the Prague Conservatoire under the guidance of Prof. Lukáš Kořínek and Prof. Ondřej Roskovec. She is furthering her studies by taking part at masterclasses led by such worldclass bassoon players as Bence Bogányi, Sophie Dervaux, and Michaela Špačková.

She is currently a member of the Hradec Králové Philharmonic.
