Packing for Tour!

Eleven days, three countries, seven cities and eight concerts. The Czech Philharmonic is setting off once again to take Europe's concert halls by storm. The first notes will sound in Antwerp before the orchestra, under the baton of Semyon Bychkov, heads to Paris and then on to Spain. Pianists Behzod Abduraimov and Mao Fujita will join them along the way.

Spare strings in case one snaps just before a concert. Rosin that no string player would leave home without. Reeds for clarinets, oboes and bassoons. Mutes that transform the sound of string and brass instruments. Not to mention concert attire, a good book, swimwear and a pair of warm socks. When you're touring Europe, it pays to be prepared for anything. Curious to see what our musicians pack in their suitcases? Have a good rummage through their luggage in our new video series, Zavíráme.
