The Czech Philharmonic’s 131st season will feature masterpieces by the great composers alongside contemporary music, performed by some of today’s most distinguished Czech and international artists.

In addition to its Chief Conductor and Music Director Semyon Bychkov, the orchestra will welcome conductors Jakub Hrůša and Sir Simon Rattle, Artist-in-Residence Janine Jansen, and Composer-in-Residence Thomas Adès. Featured soloists include Yuja Wang, Karen Gomyo, and Seong-Jin Cho.

The season programme will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s death and will also present several world and Czech premieres.

The Czech Chamber Music Society’s 132nd season will delight chamber music lovers with a stellar line-up of leading Czech ensembles and acclaimed international artists. Highlights in Dvořák Hall include the Juilliard String Quartet, Kirill Gerstein, the Josef Suk Piano Quartet, and the Smetana Trio. Recital performances will be given by Jan Fišer, Janine Jansen, Vincent Dubois, and Víkingur Ólafsson.
