Steps to the New World – Symphonic Poetry

The music form founded in the mid-19th century to tell stories and paint pictures through instrumental music is called the symphonic poem. Its “founding father” Franz Liszt had his followers in Russia, France as well as in the Bohemian Lands. This season’s series of concerts with commentary for young adults and adults “Steps to the New World” will be focusing on works by these composers.

It brings together teachers at elementary schools, music schools, and secondary schools as well as pre-school teachers.
