Czech Chamber Music Society • Haydn Ensemble
The world of Baroque music comes alive in the Suk Hall, brought to life by Czech Philharmonic bassoonist Martin Petrák and Ensemble Haydn. Their programme centres on the trio sonata—one of the era’s key forms—and includes both German works and a strong Czech contribution. Highlighted are Jan Dismas Zelenka’s masterful sonatas for woodwinds and continuo.
