From Carmen to Tannhäuser

Besides overtures by Georges Bizet and Richard Wagner, we will hear Camille Saint-Saëns’s Skeleton Dance and selections from Edvard Grieg’s incidental music to the play Peer Gynt by the Norwegian dramatist Henrik Ibsen. And Smetana has a little surprise waiting for us!
