Rudolfinum — Suk Hall

Learn from a specialist in rooftop beekeeping why bees have always belonged in the Rudolfinum. You will find out what the Ambrose Songs are and how such music affects bees. We will also reveal what it means to have a apiary on the roof of a national cultural monument.

In the Suk Hall, however, we will mainly be bottling honey! You will have the opportunity to try your hand at comb unwinding and see the tools that a beekeeper needs to do his job.

The event will run from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, you can arrive at any point during the event and leave when you feel you have learnt enough about beekeeping.  At 4 pm we will move to the roof of the Rudolfinum where you can try real beekeeping.

Admission to the event is free.
