Chief Conductor and Music Director
Semyon Bychkov was named Chief Conductor and Music Director of the Czech Philharmonic from the beginning of the 2018/2019 season.
Principal Guest Conductor
Czech maestro Jakub Hrůša was appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic from the 2018/2019 season. He leads the orchestra frequently in both subscription and special concerts as well as on tour.
Principal Guest Conductor Rafael Kubelík Chair
Sir Simon Rattle recently accepted the position of Principal Guest Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic. He holds the title of “Rafael Kubelík Chair from 2024/2025 season.
former Music Director and Chief Conductor
Jiří Bělohlávek held the position of the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic from 2012 to 2017, although his long-term and successful collaboration with the orchestra started more than thirty years ago.
