Morning Concerts

Again this year, we are inviting you to the Martinů Hall at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague’s Lesser Town for one of our Czech Chamber Music Society series. Morning Concerts always offer programmes with diverse combinations of players, and thanks to the special environment, they have a unique atmosphere.

The series also presents works that are heard less frequently on the concert stage. Especially in the first half of the season, we will give plenty of room to music by Czech composers such as Karel Boleslav Jirák and Jan Kubelík played by the Sedláček Quartet and Windows by Petr Eben performed by the organist Petr Čech and the Czech Philharmonic trumpet player Walter Hofbauer. For the second half of the season, we are inviting prominent Czech performers such as the Kalabis Wind Quintet and the Apollon Quartet.
