The Animals and the Robbers Made of Brass

"Do you know that some instruments are made of wood, while others are made of metal? And that the metal ones are called the brass instruments? And what happens if people who play these instruments lose their front teeth? So how about coming to explore some brass instruments? Come to the Rudolfinum for a fairy tale about the animals and the robbers.

String Sweets

We will introduce the family of string instruments. They go together, but each is a bit different. Mom and dad – the bass and the cello, and the children – violin and viola. Like in any family, they play together, but they can also get quite cross with each other. And they enjoy sweets together. Will we be able to solve problems and riddles and rescue Cordiera the Cook?

Playing the harp might seem simple; after all, we can play a scale with just one finger! But in reality, it’s not as easy as it might look. With our guide Maestro Mouse, we're going to explore Dan Brown's lovely book Wild Symphony. We'll meet all kinds of animal musicians like the Clumsy Kittens Busy Beetles, go on a Cheetah Chase, and watch the Swans in the Mist. To Dan Brown's poems and little symphonic pieces, we'll add singing, movement, and games.
