Do you know which instrument the violins, basses, clarinets, and all of the other instruments of the orchestra have to listen to before a concert begins? Which instrument of the orchestra plays the tuning note? That’s right, it’s the oboe! And what does it have in common with the English horn? Can you solve musical riddles just by their rhythm? And how long can you hiss like a snake? Did you know that oboists have to be skilled at woodworking?

The programme focuses on listening activities, but there will also be movement. With the help of an oboe (and an English horn, too), we'll differentiate between various noises and sounds. And we'll discover the difference between quarter notes and eighth notes.
The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
