Let us invite you to "little" dancing. Learn the polka, waltz, sousedská, mazurka, kvapík (gallop), třasák ("shaking dance")… And also the Czech beseda, the original Czech quadrille that conquered the world.
Regular dance lessons at the Rudolfinum with music by Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, and other Czech composers are open to wide public regardless of age, sex, experience. You are welcome but not required to come in pairs.
Dress code for the classes: casual (ladies of this period look particularly good in long, wide skirts), soft shoes without high-heels.
The dancing course will conclude with a ball featuring live band on 24th April 2022 in the Rudolfinum. More information is available here.
Ticket to the dance course includes:
- the Sunday ball on 24th April 2022 from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m.
