Jan Ryant Dřízal for typewriter
The typewriter greatly accelerated the writing of texts, but it also influenced the placement of letters on today’s computer keyboards. This time, it will present itself in the role of a percussion instrument. The composition we will be interpreting in the workshop for the first time anywhere in the world is by Jan Ryant Dřízal, a young composer (*1986), the winner of the Czech Philharmonic Composition Competition. Musical activities will be expanded by a survey of media education topics. The journalist Simona Janíková (from the newspaper Hospodářské noviny) will be a special guest.
