Recitals
The 2025/2026 Recital Series offers four unique evenings with top-tier artists. Violinist Josef Špaček opens the series, followed by pianist Evgeny Kissin, cellist Alisa Weilerstein with her multimedia project Fragments, and baritone Franco Vassallo in his Dvořák Hall debut.
The series begins with Josef Špaček, a favourite among local audiences, performing Franck’s beloved Sonata alongside 20th-century repertoire. Artist-in-Residence Evgeny Kissin presents a programme drawn from the golden age of piano music. Alisa Weilerstein introduces Fragments—a bold concept blending solo cello masterworks with newly commissioned pieces in a multimedia setting. Finally, the series turns to vocal artistry, as Italian baritone Franco Vassallo brings the grandeur of the world’s most famous operatic stages in his first appearance at the Dvořák Hall.
