The Czech Philharmonic recently won a major prize for a recording of Smetana’s music, and Semyon Bychkov has loved Sergei Rachmaninoff since childhood. Visitors to London’s Barbican will hear music by both composers with Seong-Jin Cho as the soloist in the Rachmaninoff.
