Czech Chamber Music Society • Juilliard String Quartet
Rudolfinum — Dvořák Hall
Price from 200 to 800 CZK
The newspaper Boston Globe called the Julliard String Quartet the “the most important American quartet in history”, and you can hear for yourself to decide whether that is an exaggeration. The ensemble’s history dates back to 1946, and it is in part for this reason that their interpretations are regarded as definitive. They will showcase their distinctive style at the Rudolfinum in music spanning three centuries, featuring works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Antonín Dvořák, and György Kurtág.
