Born in Ústí nad Labem (North Bohemia), he studied with Professor Jiřina Dlouhá at the Teplice Conservatory. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as a student of Professor Petr Messiereur, he joined the Czech Philharmonic second violins in 2002. He has also recently worked as a tutor.
