Fašánek or Fun Folk Customs for the Whole Year

The cycle of workshops is based on the traditional folk rhymes, songs, and dances, on the legacy of Pavel Jurkovič, and the belief that folk poetry is timeless and always relevant while preserving the wisdom of our great-grandpas and great-grandmas. The common motif is the wicker wreath as the symbol of time and timelessness.

The duration of the programme is 90 minutes with an intermission.

Workshop dates can be chosen in any combination.
Each programme is prepared for ca. two classses of at least 20 pupils
After each session, the instructors will offer instructional materials for teachers with related activities for use at school.
