The Emperor’s Nightingale – A Visit to the Court of the Emperor of China

Czech Philharmonic

Once upon a time there was a Chinese emperor who loved toys, technical novelties, machines of all kinds, and mechanical puppets. Let’s listen to Andersen’s fairy tale The Emperor’s Nightingale and experience it together in an enchanting musical setting by the composer Václav Trojan. The members of the Trojan Trio will provide the non-traditional accompaniment. The script is by Eva Kočerová.
