He studies at the Prague Conservatory in the prof. Pavel Verner’s class and has taken part in several international competitions, his latest success was the title of laureate in the Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition in Šibenik, Croatia. Hamerský has performed twice as a soloist with the PKF – Prague Philharmonia and has attended several masterclasses where he could improve his skills under the guidance of professor Jérôme Pernoo and other Czech cellists, such as Michal Kaňka, Tomáš Jamník, and Vilém Vlček.
