Kateřina Trumpešová

Kateřina studied oboe at the Gymnasium and Music School of the capital city of Prague. Prague in the oboe class of MgA. Pavel Tylšar and completed her education with a master's degree from Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg, where she studied in the oboe class of Prof. Clara Dent-Bogányi. She has been a member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestral Academy since September 2022, but is also a frequent guest of various German orchestras. In 2021, she won the title of absolute winner in all oboe categories of the World Open Online Music Competition, has attended numerous masterclasses under the guidance of world-renowned oboists, and her international profile is complemented by her tenure as 1st oboist of the International Youth Symphony in San Diego in 2015 and 2016.
