Alexandr Beták

He began studying the bassoon at the conservatory in České Budějovice, but transferred to the Prague Conservatory to the prof. Tomáš Františ’s class in the second year and completed the school in 2022, accompanied by the Hradec Králové Philharmonic at the graduation concert. He was a laureate of several competitions, e.g. the absolute winner of the international competition in Tropea, Italy. Currently, Beták studies at the university in Lausanne, Switzerland with prof. Carlo Colombo. He gained orchestral experience in the orchestras of PKF – Prague Philharmonia, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Pilsen Philharmonic, Praga sinfonietta and now is a member of the South Bohemian Philharmonic.
