Questions and Answers

Do you allow payment by invoice?

Yes. Invoices can only be issued by arrangement with the Czech Philharmonic's customer service. Invoices cannot be issued retrospectively for already paid tickets. By issuing an invoice, the tickets are considered to be bindingly ordered. Invoices are sent in electronic form (in accordance with Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax, as amended). You can only pay the invoiced amount by bank transfer, cash payment at the Czech Philharmonic box office is not possible.

Which credit cards do you accept?

You can pay with these cards at the Rudolfinum box office and online: MasterCard, MasterCard Electronic, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, American Expres, JCB Cards, V Pay a Diners Club International.

Which employee vouchers do you accept?

Rudolfinum box offices accept Sodexo vouchers (Flexi Pass, Relax Pass, Fokus Pass), Up (Unišek+, Cadhoc) and Edenred (Edenred Benefits). These vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. The vouchers are non-refundable. You can pay the extra ticket price over the value of the vouchers in cash or by credit card.

Can I buy tickets just before the concert?

Yes. If the concert is not sold out, you can buy tickets at the Rudolfinum box office.

Online sales on the website close 1.5 hours before the event.

Can I get tickets for a sold-out concert?

Registered users can activate the Watchdog function in their My CF account (link) and will be automatically informed by email of any available seats. Students up to the age of 26 who participate in the Student Program can also get into sold-out concerts.

I lost my ticket, what should I do?

Contact the Czech Philharmonic customer service as soon as possible. If you are already at the concert, please contact anyone from the organizing service.

Which places in the Dvořák Hall are the best?

It depends on your preferences. In the Dvořák Hall, the best seats from a purely acoustic point of view are on the ground floor in the middle of the X-Y row directly opposite the stage. From the balconies you have an interesting view of the orchestra and the entire hall. For a better idea, take a look at the auditorium plan and the virtual tour of the Dvořák Hall. The Czech Philharmonic's customer service will be happy to help you choose your seat.

Can I bring my children to the concert?

Definitely. We love it when families enjoy music together. However, please consider the appropriateness of the concert to the age of the child. Classical symphony concerts can be over 2 hours long and children can become bored early on.

Does the child have to have their ticket, can I have it on my lap?

Children aged 3 to 15 must always have a valid ticket. A 50% discount is available.

You can have a child under 3 on your lap as long as you do not obstruct the view of the spectators behind you.
