Chamber music is a pleasant way to bring variety to the professional life of an orchestral musician, and for that very reason this string quintet was founded. Today the quintet presents you the best of its repertoire. The members are all part of the Czech Philharmonic, so you can look forward to superior performances of classical pieces from various stylistic periods. Motto of the quintetto is to “Spend a good evening with the audience”, which could be the translation of Italian “Buona sera”, and the ensemble wishes to fill the listeners’ hearts with beautiful memories of a concert at the Rudolfinum – one of the loveliest buildings in Prague.
