The workshop on 16 January is canceled due to the performer's illness.

The program is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The program will not be supplied with English subtitles.

“We often teach children how to pronounce or spell something, or how a certain note is played. But then there is very little time left to pass on to children the skills for finding the strength to overcome obstacles, to be satisfied with themselves, to establish contact with others, or to find joy. And that might not just be about children…”

This is what Ondřej Tichý says, he is the heart and soul of these non-traditional musical encounters at the Rudolfinum. They take place for a third year with everybody who want to let music speak to them. Age does not matter. To the contrary, every gathering of different generations is beautiful, powerful, and unique. Just like the harmonious world of music that they all create together. Musicians of the Czech Philharmonic and their musical friends from all around will give a helping hand – and above all a helping note – to the collective efforts.

Come to take part in making the music sound or just to listen quietly and experience deeply the present moment.

The concert on 23rd April 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Dvořák Hall is the outcome of the meetings. More information about the concert.
