He started playing the violin at the age of five with Zdeněk Vyoral. Aged 15, he was accepted to Professor Dana Vlachová’s class at the Prague Conservatory. Before finishing his studies, he had already become a member of PKF – Prague Philharmonia. From 2000 to 2005, he studied with Professor Petr Messiereur at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and was the concertmaster and soloist of the Academic Chamber Soloists. In May 2001, he joined the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and later held the post of the principal second violin player between 2006 and 2007. He is also an active chamber musician, specialising in the interpretation of contemporary music for violin and double bass with bassist David Pavelka with whom he has recorded some compositions by contemporary composers for the Czech Radio.
