Subscription Series I

Seven evening concerts

In this series, the renowned Bennewitz Quartet will be introducing itself as the season’s ensemble-in-residence of the Czech Chamber Music Society. A Benefit Concert at Dvořák Hall for the construction of the organ at St Vitus’s Cathedral will unquestionably be a major event, with a performance by the organist Pavel Svoboda. Outstanding foreign soloists, the violinist Vadim Gluzman and the pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk, will each appear in a separate recital, thereby bringing to fruition the idea of collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic, which has invited these marvelous artists to appear later on its subscription concerts.
