Over 120 seasons, the Czech Philharmonic has been led by many great conductors who have left an indelible mark on the golden treasury of Czech music. At present, there are four different conductors who regularly work and perform with the orchestra.

Jiří Bělohlávek
Jiří Bělohlávek – Music Director and Chief Conductor

Jiří Bělohlávek held the position of the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic from 2012 to 2017, although his long-term and succesfull collaboration with the orchestra started more than thirty years ago.

Semyon Bychkov – Artistic Director of the Tchaikovsky project

Starting the 2016/17 season, the acclaimed artist Semyon Bychkov has been named Artistic Director of the extensive project of recording Tchaikovsky's symphonies and concertos.

Jakub Hrůša
Jakub Hrůša – Permanent Guest Conductor

The talented Czech maestro Jakub Hrůša has been appointed the Permanent Guest Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic starting the 2015/2016 season. He leads the orchestra frequently at the subscription as well as special concerts.

Vojtěch Jouza
Vojtěch Jouza – Assistant to Chief Conductor

Vojtěch Jouza, conductor and oboe player, holds the position of Assistant to Chief Conductor since the 2015/16 season. Among other projects, he is a co-creator and condcutor of some of the Czech Philharmonic educational programmes.
